Summary
The Good Lovin Bar has a collection of Keto & Paleo bars that have great macros & taste freakin’ delicious. Their brand is family-owned with a unique, fun/funny & friendly voice. The only thing they take seriously is their high-quality bars which are refrigerated.
The goal was to drive more converting traffic without spending a dime. We set out to capture their personality in header tags, meta descriptions & product pages throughout their site & on social. We completed this while utilizing SEO best practices (ever changing!), research for short & long tail keywords as well as optimizing features on Shopify such as abandoned cart (lowered from 48% to 22%), reviews & email marketing via Klaviyo integration. It was a delicate balance of form & function so we didn’t sound like a robot, yet still connected with indexable copy to boost rankings.
In first 3 months we organically drove sales more than 300% (than previous 6 months), had a 5.72% conversion rate (up to 19.23% for promotions) & moved them from basement on Google search to the top 2 pages, including a number one listing for three primary keywords. Finally, our ranked organic keywords went from 9 to 162 all resulting in traffic boosted by a whooping 1,300%+ (compared to previous 3 month period).
